Crozier joins Premier Inn-owner Whitbread

Adam Crozier, currently the senior independent director will succeed company chairman Richard Baker post his retirement from the board at the next financial year end, February 28^th.

Baker had completed nearly nine years of service on board.

Crozier holds a broad experience as chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi, the Football Association, the Royal Mail and most recently ITV, where he served as chief executive until June 2017.

He will join the Whitbread board in April 2017 and became senior independent director in September 2017.

Baker commented on his appointment that during his ninth year in Whitbread he wanted to execute  strategic plans to build a bigger and better Whitbread for the benefit of all stakeholders.

They are well equipped with well-established chief executive and executive team, a refreshed board to delivering the plan.

He further mentioned that Adam has had a long and successful executive career and  the board has selected a strong candidate to lead Whitbread.

He was privileged to work for Whitbread during the time of growth and success.
