Cruise ship’s dock at Galway is being seen as a major tourism boost

worlds-largest-cruise-ship-docks-in-puerto-ricoOn Friday morning, a cruise ship will dock in Galway Bay with approximately 800 passengers and crew on board. At around 11am, the Astoria vessel will dock itself along with 556 passengers and 240 crew members.

 
The passengers across the globe are travelling from countries like Britain, the US and Germany respectively.

 
If we look at the vessel, its 160 meters in length and is operated by Classic International Cruises. As informed by Galway Harbour Master Captain Brian Sheridan, the ship will be arriving from Cobh and departing Galway for Belfast. He mentioned that it’s an important tourism boost for the whole area.
