The cruise vessel named MS Magellan that is being operated by Cruise & Maritime Voyages is currently filling about 65% of its capacity in Dundee while the remaining is being taken by the travellers boarding in Newcastle.
Colin Ramsay of Ramsay World Travel of Dundee who had sold the cruise mentioned that it is all braced up for a ‘roaring success’.
He said that the Magellan is a fantastic ship enriched with several bars, restaurant and entertainment including cabarets, discos, Broadway-style shows and so on. The Magellan is scheduled to leave on Sunday and it had visited Dundee before. A beautiful drone video had captured this cruise vessel.
According to the industry chiefs, Dundee is well on its way to be emerging as the cruise capital of Scotland after it had experienced an overwhelming 600% surge in the number of luxury ships docking at the port in three years.
