Crystal River Cruises’ newly released designs for Crystal Ravel, Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy and Crystal Mahler show stylish contemporary decor and glamorous details like a glass-topped Palm Court, marble faux fireplace in the penthouse living room, walk-in closets and two-sink bathrooms in deluxe suites.
Set to embark in spring and summer next year, the yachts will emulate the sophisticated style of the fully redesigned Crystal Mozart, debuting in Vienna this month. All have signature Crystal spaces like a Bistro café, Palm Court, Vintage Room and Cove Bar.
All of the newbuilds’ all-suite accommodations are located above the waterline. Instead of balconies, they have large, panoramic windows with a drop-down top half.
While Crystal Mozart is Europe’s largest river-going vessel, it accommodates just 158 passengers in its redesign for Crystal. And the newbuilds carry approximately half that number. Sailing on the Rhine, Main and Danube, the 135-meter Crystal Mahler and Crystal Bach have 53 suites for 106 guests, while the 110-meter Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel will cruise the Seine, Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde with capacity for 78 guests in 39 suites.
Suites on the four newbuilds range up to the 759-square-foot Crystal Suite and feature plush king-sized beds that face the panoramic windows. All suites have walk-in closets, full-length mirrors, ETRO robes and slippers, wall-mounted flat-screen HD televisions, Nespresso machines and butler service.
Dining venues—all open-seating—include the Waterside Restaurant, the casual Bistro and the exclusive, intimate Vintage Room for special wine dinners.
Further amenities and services include a full-service spa and separate, staffed fitness center with machines, cardio equipment and free weights. A small indoor/outdoor pool will be located aft on Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler.
