Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels, will continue to explore new markets, develop new revenue streams and maintain its focus of delivering exceptional service to each guest this year.
The operational plan was unveiled during the group’s first General Manager’s Meet for 2016 at one of its five star properties, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort.The meet was attended by General Managers from all 10 properties namely Al Raha Beach Hotel, Danat Al Ain Resort, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, Tilal Liwa Hotel, Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Al Ain Hotel, Danat Residence, Oryx Hotel, Dhafra Beach Hotel, Century Hotel Apartments and Green Mubazzarah Chalets.
Manoj Kanwal, Danat Operations Director, headed the meet which focused on operational plans for 2016. The GMs discussed strategies to increase revenue streams and opportunities to align all hotels with the objectives and vision of Danat Hotels & Resorts.
“Current market conditions and the drop in oil prices are certainly going to pose an immense challenge for the entire hospitality industry. We are already seeing the effects of this situation however Danat Hotels & Resorts portfolio includes some very unique properties and we will continue to explore new markets, developing new revenue streams and maintain our focus of delivering exceptional service to each guest and stay ahead of the game,” said Kanwal.
Discussions were carried out to discover areas of improvement from previous performance and efforts taken on an individual hotel basis to ensure guest and employee satisfaction.Danat Hotel & Resorts will strive to aim for better integration of operational and marketing practices on a group level. Steps will be taken to introduce several new concepts to enhance the brand value and make it more socially responsible. Keeping this in mind the group will also continue to focus on learning and development of employees at all levels over the course of the year.
