The WTTC Global Summit 2017 will witness global leaders coming together under one roof. Will start in Bangkok, Thailand from 26th till 26th April this year, this event will focus on ‘transforming our world’ in terms of travel and tourism.
Some major geophysical issues that the world is undergoing in the current scenario will be discussed at the summit by Mr. David Cameron. One of the youngest prime ministers, David Cameron was also first ever British Prime Minister to increase number of seats and share of vote in the House of Common for his party. To quote David Scowsill, WTTC President & CEO, ‘’ “I am delighted that Mr Cameron will join us at our Global Summit this year. His international stature and first-hand experience of leadership on the world stage will bring extremely valuable insights to our Members and delegates. His views on the big issues currently facing an ever-changing world will be eagerly anticipated’’.
Starting right from future of travel and tourism, impact of security threats, alteration of climate, improved connectivity and infrastructure development in the ASEAN regions are some of the major issues to be discussed at the summit 2017.
