Named Evha Jannath, this young girl was on a school trip on Tuesday at the Drayton Manor theme park that is located in Tamworth, at a distance of nearly 125 miles northwest of London. It was then that he abruptly fell inside the water. She had fallen from the Splash Canyon ride.
According to the British police, Evha was recovered from the water and thereafter was offered advanced life support from ambulance crews.
But, later, she died in a hospital.
In an official statement, the British police claimed that according to the Jannath family, Evha was a beautiful young lady who loved smiling and was full of love.
The Staffordshire Police said that Evha Jannath was on a school trip at the theme park with her Leicester school, Jameah Girls Academy. She was late rescued from the water by the park staff after 2.20 p.m. local time, on Tuesday.
In a statement, a spokesman associated with the West Midlands Ambulance Service said that the crew discovered a girl with grave injuries and she had been rescued from the water by the staff of the theme park. It added that the staff had administered life support to the girl before she was flown to Birmingham Children’s Hospital as the doctor continued treating her en-route.
However, Jannath died after she arrived at the hospital.
Currently, ‘specially trained officers’ are supporting Jannath’s family.
An investigation has been launched to determine how exactly Evha fell off the water ride. Similar rides have therefore been closed down at several other theme parks.
