With the prestigious Michelin Guide recently confirming Il Lago’s star, Chef Sena and his team are presenting their mastery of the white truffle every day. Also called “Italian white diamond,” it is a symbol the autumn period, and emblematic of the region of Piémont and more precisely of the City of Alba.
Chef Sena has created three dishes to discover or rediscover the finesse, fragrance and exceptional strength of this gastronomic jewel. First, Chef presents a poached egg, purple potatoes, smoked provola and white truffle; then he invites guests to taste the taglioni with white truffle; or indulge in the truffle risotto. The flavours of each explode in the mouth, while the suggestions of Chef Sommelier Fabio Masi enhance these exceptional dishes.
The renown of Chef Sena will go beyond the Swiss borders this fall as he visits Four Seasons Hotel Moscow from November 23 to 30, 2017 for a four-handed gastronomic experience.
Then, on December 13, 2017 the restaurant Il Lago will host an exceptional dinner Paolo Basso, named Best Sommelier in the World in 2013. A violinist will enchant this evening under the theme of the white truffle and Grand Barolo di Luciano Sandrone wine will be served.
