A bird had flown into the engine of this plane of Delta Air Lines.
An employee of the airport in Grand Forks, from where the plane had taken off told the media that the incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Friday.
The pilots then made the call to reverse the route of the plane and return to grand Forks. Ryan Riesinger who is the airport authority manager was contacted by the media but they have not received any response from him as yet.
The passengers who had been scheduled to fly to Minneapolis were arranged to be places on an alternative flight this evening.
