Lakes Area travelers will have even more SkyWest-operated Delta Connection flights to choose from this summer thanks to increased seasonal weekend service. For passengers, this means that there will be two, daily roundtrip flights from Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport (BRD) to Minneapolis (MSP) every day of the week from June 29 through the end of August – a 20 percent increase!
“We’re excited to offer these additional weekend flights in Brainerd, and know it will make it easier and more convenient for anyone planning a trip,” said Greg Atkin, managing director of Market Development at SkyWest. “We look forward to seeing even more travelers taking advantage of their local air service as they fly out of Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport this summer!”
Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport Manager Jeff Wig said, “With airlines so carefully controlling their flight schedules, we are very pleased that SkyWest is able to offer these additional flights. It really shows their confidence in Brainerd as a strong market.”
Along with the increased flights, departure times for the first flight out of Brainerd will be updated to better accommodate passengers while maintaining maximum connection opportunities in MSP. The anticipated flight schedule* beginning in July is:
Flight Freq Departure Airport Dept Time Arrival Airport Arrival Time 7423 Daily BRD 6:50 a.m. MSP 7:54 a.m. 7374 Daily BRD 3:40 p.m. MSP 4:45 p.m. 7374 Daily MSP 2:20 p.m. BRD 3:13 p.m. 7375 Daily MSP 10:01 p.m. BRD 10:53 p.m.

Daily, non-stop service from Brainerd to Minneapolis provides passengers with access to hundreds of daily flights on Delta’s worldwide network. Each flight will be onboard the 50-passenger Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200).
