Delta has been honored with a Candidate Experience (CandE) Award by the Talent Board, a nonprofit which focuses on recruitment, for the fourth year in a row. Its survey measures the experiences of job candidates while interviewing, regardless of whether they receive an offer of employment.
CandE Award winners represent the top 50 companies with the highest survey ratings. This year more than 200 companies registered for the 2017 North American awards, and surveys were collected from more than 180,000 candidates from 155 companies.
“This year’s Candidates Experience Award winners have raised the bar yet again with ensuring consistent communication and feedback loops at every stage of the recruitment process,” said Kevin Grossman, President of Global Programs for the Talent Board. “And each one knows that even the smallest of improvements with communication and feedback can equate to a big impact on business outcomes and the employment brand.”
Glen Johnson, Delta’s Director – Talent Acquisition, said the award is a direct reflection of the airline’s high standards for its hiring practices.
“Winning this honor for the fourth straight year is a tremendous honor for Delta, and highlights the great work of our hiring managers, talent acquisition team and Delta employees as a whole,” he said. “It’s also a strong validation of the respectful, transparent way we strive to treat each and every job candidate.”
This honor is only the latest recruiting and workplace honor Delta has won. The airline landed a spot on the Glassdoor Best Places to Interview list in August, and was named to “best workplace” lists for both Glassdoor and Fortune over the past year.
