Delta’s Cuba Service Continues While Adhering To U.S. Policy Changes

Published on : Saturday, June 17, 2017

deltalogo_11431228Delta said it would continue serving customers traveling between the U.S. and Cuba in accordance with changes to American policy announced by President Trump on Friday.

The president signed a directive to roll back parts of the Obama administration’s opening of the Communist country in 2014. The revised approach calls for stricter enforcement of a longtime ban on Americans going to Cuba as tourists.

In a statement the airline said, “Delta Air Lines will adhere to any changes in the regulations announced by the Trump Administration regarding travel to Cuba and continue to provide daily non-stop service from New York-JFK, Atlanta and Miami to Havana within those parameters.”
