The new hotel would possess 77 rooms and referred to as Nobis Hotel Copenhagen that was designed by Wingardh Arkitektkontor. The practice was enlisted by Nobis Hotel Group to transform the storied unique Neoclassical structure and later, was home to the Danish Academy of Music.
Its neighbors were Tivoli Gardens and Nly Carleberg Glyptotek and is among the first concrete structures of Copenhagen.
Gert Wingardh who is the practice principal mentioned that the building presents an exceptional instance of Danish Classicism that represents a more sophisticated version of what can be discovered in Sweden.
Original windows, mouldings and wood and marble staircase have also been preserved in Nobis Hotel Copenhagen.
The details present turn-of-the-century have been paired with modern additions comprising a fresh concrete check-in-desk inside the reception that references the 5,500 square metres fabric of the building.
All the bedrooms of this beautiful hotel boast of high ceilings and period mouldings.
Blue and green comprise the predominant colors and they have been teamed well with oak floors and furniture by Carl Hansen & Son. Inspired by the stone details of the building the bathrooms have been outfitted completely in grey Bardiglio marble.
The Nordic theme continue in the Niels Restaurant of the hotel.
It is planned by chef Jeppe Foldager that serves as the French and Danish fare.
