The fog has been experienced by the locals and the travellers at the entire Delhi National Capital Region or NCR, early in the morning on 30th November.
According to sources, the fog had caused low visibility of around 500 metre of distance.
The low visibility has forced the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow and the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi to delay numerous flights in and out of the airports.
At the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, almost 18 international and domestic flights have been delayed due to the weather condition.
Prior to the condition, the India Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding a shallow to moderate fog cover over the cities of Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Haryana and Sikkim.
