German tourism group DER Touristik Hotels (DTH) and Croatian peer Romana have signed an agreement for the construction of a four-star Lti Romana hotel in the coastal town of Makarska. It would be the first of its kind in Croatia, according to media reports.
Croatian news portal Tportal said that DTH will manage the new hotel, while Romana will invest 50 million Euro ($56.8 million) into the project.
The proposed hotel will have 267 rooms, and will be ready for welcoming guests in June 2018.
Lti hotels currently have their presence in Spanish and Greek islands, Madeira, Egypt, Bulgaria, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.
