The holiday season is taken in with frenzy shopping from locals and visitors in the United States and throughout the world. The pre-Christmas shopping helps the US economy grow and gives enough fuel for the rest of the year to the retailers.
Most shops were offering attractive discounts that took people to the US and UK to shop for Thanksgiving to Black Friday which is marked as the last pay day before Christmas and has become the biggest shopping event in the United States.
The trend has swept both US and the UK; the rush was so fierce in the last year that shops had to take help of the police to control shoppers.
Shoppers will continue to throng the stores as no shopping is complete without a visit to the store but this time the trend is more on online shopping. People are ordering from their mobile handsets and going for hassle free shopping.
On Thanksgiving till the black Friday the total amount of online spent is expected to touch $4.47 billion. On Thanksgiving Day total spent on online sales only from mobile devices was 57 per cent. 15,000 StarWar items were sold in eBay.
UK Shoppers are expected to spend $1.07 billion on Black Friday. More than 183 million people are expected to spend on Cybey Monday and 135.8 million US consumers are expected to shop between Thanksgiving and Monday.
5,000 hoverboards or related items were sold in every 17 seconds; people are choosing their Christmas gifts for the holiday season. Total US retail spending for November to December will soar to $630.
