Dhradhul will head Tourism Council of Bhutan

The Tourism Council of Bhutan has appointed Dorji Dhradhul as director general.

He had earlier served as the chief administrator or dzongda of Gasa District and during his serving period he was heading the Good to Great Gasa programme.

He also initiated many important programmes other key initiatives were the Royal Highland Festival and Laya Run and is known to benefit the rural communities and the tourism industry.

He has also worked with the founding director of the department of agriculture marketing and cooperatives and founding registrar of the cooperatives of Bhutan.

Basically the Tourism Council Of Bhutan sticks to policy of high value and low impact tourism.

The tourism body of Bhutan believes in providing affordable opportunity to travel, it helps in promoting understanding among people and establishing closer friendship ties.
