A non-stop flight from Sichuan Airlines between Auckland and Chengdu will be operating from June 13. This route will be operating three times a week and will be served by A330 aircraft. The flying time is around 13 hours.
Sichuan Airlines has been operating safely for nearly 28 years since its establishment. It has the largest Airbus fleet in China, over 120 planes covering more than 240 flight routes. The Airlines has been awarded the best airlines in Mainland China for three consecutive years. The in-flight Sichuan food has been rated as the best in-flight meal in Mainland China.
Sichuan is the home of giant pandas in China. It tops other cities in central and western regions of China in terms of the number of world natural heritage sites and world cultural heritage sites. Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, has more than 3000 years of history.
It is crowned as the best tourist destination in China by the World Tourism Organization and China National Tourism Administration. It is the first international best food city in Asia rated by UNESCO.
