At Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet, festive arrangements have been finalised for the Holy Month of Ramadan. Having a charming and cosy courtyard, Seasons Restaurant promises to enchant its visitors with the original local flavours of Turkish cuisine, served with Chef Savaş Aydemir’s genuine style. The décor reflects the true essence of Ramadan with live fasil music. As always, a stop for a beverage or Turkish coffee at A’YA Rooftop Lounge makes a great finale to any dining experience in Sultanahmet. For those who wish to enjoy Iftar and Sahour at the privacy of their rooms, in-room dining also offers tasty alternatives. The Hotel’s catering experts have also prepared special menus for private Iftar events.
Similar to previous years, the buffet-style Iftar includes a rich variety of main courses, the famous hot and cold mezze, traditional pickles and regional cheese. During Ramadan, guests have a chance to experience savoury choices from different regions of Turkey at Seasons. In addition to a number of attractive varieties in the cold buffet, the hot buffet offers different starters at live stations each week, such as pide and keskek (Turkish whole wheat risotto). Main dishes including the soup also change weekly, showcasing different selections from Turkish cuisine.
The buffet includes a wide range grill options including meat and chicken and of course a selection of signature Ramadan beverages such as homemade sherbets and compotes to keep everyone hydrated. Guests will be able to enjoy traditional Turkish desserts such as baklava and a selection of milk-based puddings as well.
Not only Hotel guests but also visitors of the historical peninsula can stop by Seasons Restaurant to take a break in the Old Town and relax the mind, soul and body in the cosy courtyard.
