The news had been announced along with a series of new itineraries in the Caribbean, Alaska and Europe for Disney next year. The 300m Disney Magic had paid a maiden visit to Dublin Port in the year 2016. But then, the cruise liner would be dropping its anchor in Cork for the very first time in 2018.
The visit would actually be a part of the itinerary of ‘British Isles’ that would depart the UK on 2nd September with visits to Liverpool, Greenock (Scotland), Cork and Dublin. Cork boasts of a colorful cultural scenario and also a series of cafes, shops and pubs. Moreover, it attracts tourists to the ancient past of Ireland thanks to historic sites like Blarney Castle which lets visitors kiss the famous Blarney Stone.
Disney carries about 3,650 passengers and crew members.
Broadway-calibre shows are conducted in the cruise that also offers interesting options like multiple pools, fine dining in restaurants and so on.
Last summer, Disney Magic was home to a show that was inspired by ‘Game of Thrones’ that exhibited dancers, drummers and music. But then, Disney Magic does not have any scheduled stops in Ireland in 2017.
This cruise liner is also all set to launch cruises between Rome and Barcelona for the first time in 2018 with many stops in between. It would also pay a maiden visit to Genoa in Italy.
Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder would sail in the Bahamas, Caribbean and the Alaska during the summer season on 2018.
