Doncaster Sheffield Airport’s World Duty Free Store is named store standards winner

Robin Hood AirportThe team at Doncaster Sheffield Airport are celebrating as their World Duty Free Store is named as one of the winners of their annual store standards competition.


Staff at the store beat off competition from over 90 other stores and were awarded the title of Champion Small Store for 2014.


Amy Simmons, store manager, for World Duty Free at Doncaster Sheffield Airport said: “This is a fantastic achievement for us. Our staff are proud and delighted to have been given this award and it is great to see that all of the hard work we do in Doncaster has been recognised in this way.”


Steve Gill, managing director of Doncaster Sheffield Airport presented the team with their trophy on behalf of World Duty Free.


Steve said: “We are extremely pleased to see the World Duty Free store at Doncaster Sheffield Airport win this award.


“The team of judges were very impressed with what they saw when they visited Doncaster. Hard work, dedication and customer services played a massive part in the team winning this award. Doncaster Sheffield Airport was named the UKs number one for Customer Service in a national Which? survey and it is great to see that our partners are delivering the high standards our customers deserve and expect.”
