The Drover’s Camp is one kilometre east of the township of Camooweal, Queensland.
The Festival opened on August 23 with a lively street parade including humorous floats, musicians, horses and coaches culminating in a fun-filled, lively night full of entertainment.
The street parade was followed by the Last Great Mail Race where the winner and runner up prize money was shared between team members and chosen charity.
To top this weekend off, enjoy yarning with an old drover, Bronco Branding, music, poetry and Saturday night concert with a special artist.
During the weekend wander through the Droving Heritage Centre and enjoy the top class photographic competition and displays. There will be a Mass service tomorrow, Sunday morning at the Shire Hall in Camooweal. Be entertained at the Drover’s Campsite.
