Blue Grass Airport passengers now have the opportunity to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts as a new dining option prior to boarding their flight. Opening today, Dunkin’ Donuts is conveniently located post-security in between Concourse A and B.Open daily from 5 am to 8 pm, Dunkin’ Donuts will serve its hot and iced coffee products, freshly prepared baked goods and a variety of specialty sandwiches. The menu includes items such as gourmet coffee, donuts, Munchkins, muffins, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, tuna melts, chicken salad sandwiches, hash browns and more.
“Our customers have been asking for a nationally recognized coffee brand, and we are pleased to be able to accommodate that request by offering the Dunkin’ Donuts product in partnership with Creative Food Group,” said Eric Frankl, executive director of Blue Grass Airport. “Dunkin’ Donuts will be a great addition to our current food and beverage offerings and will provide a quick, convenient option for passengers to grab a cup of coffee, snack or sandwich prior to boarding their flight.”
Dunkin’ Donuts will be operated by Creative Food Group, who operates all of the dining options at Blue Grass Airport. Creative Food Group is a minority-owned company with over 50 restaurants and 16 years of operating experience in high volume locations including restaurants in Newark Liberty International Airport, Baltimore-Washington International Airport and New York Penn Station.“We are very excited to open our first Dunkin’ Donuts at LEX,” said President Ali Isani of Creative Food Group.
“It will be a great concept for the new dining program we have been building at Blue Grass Airport and will enhance the customer experience.”Dunkin’ Donuts is one of four dining options at Blue Grass Airport. The airport also includes a full-service dining option at the Kentucky Ale Taproom and counter service dining at Market Fresh. This winter, the airport and Creative Food Group will open Pepper’s Mexican Grill, a full-service restaurant that will be located in Concourse B.
