Dubai greeted 8.36 million foreign overnight visitors in the first six months (January-June) of this year, posting a positive 3% in tourism volume growth in comparison to the same time in 2018, as per the recent data released by Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism). The new statistics strengthen the continued power of tourism sector of Dubai as a key driver of economic diversification and a reliable catalyst for GDP acceleration through 2020.
