Egypt Tourism will regain pre-2011 level by 2017

Tourism-in-EgyptDavid Scowsill, Chairman of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) expressed during the fifth Global Summit in Luxor that by early 2017, Egyptian Tourism will return to its pre-2011 level.

He praised the security measures imposed on Egyptian airports and expressed his desires to report at British Travel Agencies regarding his observations.

David also will visit Red Sea Resort town to encourage the resumption of flights.
104th meeting of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) kicked off in Luxor, early this week.

Egypt is in leading role in the world tourism and is earning revenues. The high-level attendance in the meeting brings the confidence in the international tourism community.
The tourism industry of Egypt is struggling hard since 2011 and is the vital source in earning currency for the country. Supporting tourism means supporting Egypt, he expressed.

Several incidents in Egypt are the major cause of falling down of tourists after 2011. Some cases in point are like brutal murder of Italian Ph.D., killing of eight Mexican tourists in accidents.

But, the recent statistical data reveals that the percentage of tourists will again gain sharp rise in early 2017.
