The state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I’s El Tari airport general manager, Wahyudi, told that it aimed to support efforts to increase tourism in the province.
Recently hundreds of tourists from Australia visited NTT through the airport using chartered planes to explore tourist destinations in the region.
The incentive also aims in supporting the program slated 18th to 21st October 2017 in Kupang.
Wahyudi is hopeful the free landing and parking services would continue in order to achieve NTT’s target to attract 1.5 million tourists this year.
In the previous year Kupang airport welcomed up to 1 million tourists, which is not a small number.
That’s why they are targeting to increase the number to 1.5 million.
