Engine shutdown prompts emergency landing of Delta flight

Delta Airlines flightAn airplane of Delta had to make an emergency landing in Memphis after one of its engines broke down all of a sudden.


Flight 1125 was heading to Los Angeles International Airport. During this point of time, the lights went out suddenly, according to a passenger on board the flight. Then, the captain of the flight came over to the speaker and said that the plane had been experiencing certain electrical issues.


Later on, they discovered that one of the engines reportedly failed.


However, the plane was capable of making a perfectly safe landing without any incidents.


All the passengers disembarked normally and were waiting for a new plane from Atlanta. Thereafter, the passengers expressed that the scenario resembled that of a movie and that the captain did a great job making the final landing.


One of the passengers mentioned that though some of them were perturbed slightly, many others tried their best to remain calm, and then they were all able to make a smooth landing that was ‘super professional’.
