Operated by Hedonistic Hiking, the eight-night tour explores the off-tourist-trail region of Basilicata in southern Italy. The tour’s final stop is at the World Heritage city of Matera, where guests will stay in hotel rooms carefully converted from the town’s original cave dwellings. The final walk will explore the history of this unique city and the surrounding countryside.
