Bojan Jokic, CEO and co-founder of Epteca, will be a featured presenter at the upcoming Airline Retail Conference (ARC) taking place June 2-3, 2015 at Olympia Conference Centre in London. The presentation, titled “Knowing Your Customer – Content & Context” will focus on the impact of using relevance, timing, technique, channel, and the customer decision journey that define a lucrative ancillary merchandising and selling strategy focused on the traveller.
Airlines, concessionaires and every business connected to the airline passenger experience is sitting on a mountain of data, but with a lack of meaningful interpretation there is a risk of sending the wrong message and losing that individuals business. Content is everywhere, but the context is nowhere to be found.
Bojan will offer strategies for handling data insights effectively, from after the booking through to the actual flight and beyond, to dramatically increase profits, monetizing the €260 billion global 3rd party ancillary opportunity in travel, while enhancing the passenger’s journey.
“For the first time we see a real merging of the physical and digital: there is no more offline only, and there is a constant battle for the travel consumer’s attention,” explains the Epteca CEO. “Knowing your customer – content and context, is the way to break through the clutter and reach passengers with the perfect products and services they want and need, when they are most intent in purchasing them.” Epteca’s mantra is ‘ridding the world of irrelevant content by putting each additional offering into the right context for each customer’, Bojan adds.
Bojan has been a disruptive force in the travel technology industry since 1997. Over the years, he has been the driving force behind multiple e-commerce solutions that are generating profitable revenues for notable companies in 3 continents with millions of customers.
