Last year, there were 10,627 competitors at the finish of the 21st Etape du Tour, taking place between Annecy and Annecy-Semnoz. This year, change of scenery and mountain range. On Sunday, July 20, participants will be riding in the Pyrenees.
Two emblematic Tour de France difficulties will be waiting; the Tourmalet pass (17.1km at an average gradient of 7.3%) and the Hautacam climb (13.6km àat an average gradient of 7.8%).
Registration to the Etape du Tour can be done only at the A.S.O. Challenges website from November 12. For competitors living outside of France, specialized travel agencies need to be contacted to guarantee obtaining a number.
