The Addis Ababa-Conakry service will open more aviation services for Guineans engaged in trade and tourism to easily access the Middle Eastern and Asian markets, the airline said in announcing the new service Thursday.
Guinean Ambassador to Ethiopia Sidibe Fatoumata Kaba has praised the move by the airline.
It will enhance bilateral exchanges in the fields of trade and tourism, apart from the increased bilateral co-operation it facilitates, the Ambassador said.
The ambassador praised Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn and his government for taking the initiative to launch the direct flights.
Ethiopian Airlines currently covers 96 international destinations, including 54 in Africa.
