After weeks of hard work, the Aqua Restaurant kitchen team is excited to present new lunch and dinner menus. Having a charming terrace with an uninterrupted view at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus, Aqua has one of the most attractive dining terraces by the Bosphorus overlooking the magnificent blue vista of Istanbul. Inspired by city’s summer vibe, the menu offers a wide range of options with more than 50 items.
“The essence of Italian cooking today is simplicity. We are going back to basics this summer; we use the freshest seasonal ingredients possible and then basic cooking techniques to simply enhance the natural flavours of the food,” says the Hotel’s Director of Food and Beverage Khalid Bseiso.
In new menus, Executive Chef Sebastiano Spriveri and the team focus on a true love of food. It is not only love for carefully selected ingredients, flavours, aromas and food but also for people they feed every day. When it comes to kitchen essentials, fresh local products, ingredients kept loyal to their core flavours as well as Italian and homemade pasta varieties are Sebastiano’s pillars. “A chef’s language is his food, meaning I use flavours, fresh ingredients and passion to express myself on every single dish I create in my kitchen,” says Chef Sebastiano.
While not leaving out the favourite items of local visitors, Chef adds a Sicilian flair to the concept, being faithful to his roots. The new menu offers more items to share for family-style dining and includes a totally brand new salad section with fresh herbs from Chef’s garden. The menu has a variety of signature dishes. Some of the must-haves are maccheroni Norma style, fried eggplants and ricotta cheese; roasted sea bass filet wrapped with country bread; caprese salad; risotto with seafood ragout; and poached lobster with Catalana vegetables salad and red wine vinaigrette.
As always, there are separate menus with an extensive selection for vegeterians and for guests looking for gluten-free items. Aqua is open to non-resident guests and no entrance fee is required. Reservation is recommended for lunch and dinner.
