European Waterways has announced the appointment of Julie Garratt as the company’s new Sales and Reservations Manager, effective October 14, 2019. She replaces Mark Robinson, who will be stepping down from the position after five years and continue to assist the company on future projects. Garratt will work out of the company’s headquarters in Datchet, Berkshire, United Kingdom.
Garratt brings extensive experience in hospitality sales that include 10 years with Quality Villas, a leading European luxury villa rental business, during which time she spent four years as Reservations Manager. Her fluency in French and Italian will greatly assist in her new position, where she will be communicating regularly with her European Waterways’ colleagues as the company continues to enhance its services in France and Italy,

In her new role, Garratt will oversee the sales and reservations, customer service, and business development departments. She will assist in strengthening existing partnerships and forging new business relationships with travel agents, as well as identifying and responding quickly to new sales targets, employing appropriate strategies to ensure sustainable sales and revenue growth.
