European Waterways has waived the single supplement on four cruises through Holland aboard the Panache in April 2014. Solo people wishing to join the rest of your group with their own cabin can now do so with no single supplement applying to any of the six-night cruises departing next April.
Derek Banks, European Waterways’ managing director said: “There is no reason why solo travellers should not have the opportunity to enjoy ‘the hotel barging experience’ with like-minded couples and small groups. Holland is an ideal destination for a cruise in the spring, with the striking colours of the tulip fields displayed at their best.”
The shore excursion programme aboard the Panache includes visits to the Keukenhof Gardens, the medieval town of Gouda and the Royal Delft Pottery. Further highlights of the Holland river cruises include a spa pool on-board the vessel, and 12 bicycles for guests to explore the towpaths.
Alternatively, group travel organisers are able to charter entire vessels and deviate off schedule for your own tailor-made river cruise. Hotel barges accommodate up to 20 people.
