Eurostar is planning to launch more travel options in April when it adds service between London and the Dutch cities of Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
Commencing on 4th April, travellers would be able to take the train from St. Pancras station in London to Rotterdam in three hours and to Amsterdam in three hours and 41 minutes as per a news release.
As the service rolls out, passengers would be travelling directly to these Dutch cities.
However while returning there would be a stop for passport checks in Brussels, Belgium.
Eurostar is hopeful about capturing some of the estimated 4 million fliers between London and Amsterdam every year with its 200-mph trains. The rail service launched in 1994 with London-Paris service.
Tickets would be going on sale on Tuesday and commence at 35 British pounds that equals to $48 each way.
Eurostar would be having nonstop flights between London and Amsterdam takes one hour, flights with one stop usually take around three hours. Eurostar travellers might board as late as 30 minutes prior to the departure of the train and are permitted two suitcases and one carry-on bag for free.
