There will be three flights a week from the state capital of North Rhine- Westphalia to the two sunshine destinations of Miami and Fort Myers in Florida.
From April 28th the new route will start and operate daily except Tuesdays. The flights from Düsseldorf to Miami will commence from May 4th and ply on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On 3rd May the Eurowings routes to Fort Myers will operate for the first time and thereafter on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The ongoing expansion of the low-cost long-haul offering by the airline will have three new direct flights from Düsseldorf to the USA.
The first Eurowings long-haul flight started off from Düsseldorf to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It will continue along with the existing flight to Cancun in Mexico till the summer flight schedule in 2018.
Oliver Wagner, Eurowings chief commercial officer, said that the new destinations in New York and Florida are just the start by summer 2018, there will be an increased number of fleet that will help the airline create a leading position.
