Port Stephen’s newly refurbished Seabreeze Hotel in Nelson Bay will play host to a special, three-course dinner on Thursday, May 26, 2016, hosted by award-winning winemaker Lisa McGuigan.The exclusive event will begin at 7pm, with each course of the meal matched with the McGuigan’s premium wines.
Coming from a Hunter Valley winemaking family going back four generations, Lisa McGuigan is the founder of the successful Tempus Two label for McGuigan Simeon Wines, and has recently launched her own independent wine label, aptly named Lisa McGuigan Wines.
The first releases in the new label include 2011 Orange Pinot Gris, 2011 Hunter Valley Chardonnay, 2011 Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir and 2009 Canberra Shiraz.“This is a very personal experience for me, not least because I am putting my name behind these wines”, McGuigan said. “The wonderful winemakers who have come on board this journey know the styles of wine I want to make. These are wines by friends, for friends.”
