This new partnership provides currently enrolled students or student instructors at smaller flight training programs the same incentives as their peers who attend traditional four-year universities. The goal is to advance flight training and promote aviation careers across the country.

It is important that we do everything we can to ensure our future pilots and instructors are properly equipped with the knowledge and resources available to be successful,” said Darrin Greubel, director of Flight Operations at ExpressJet Airlines. “ExpressJet values the investment students make in their aviation career and the Preferred School Program partnership ensures that in return for their investment, they have a secure future with ExpressJet upon successful completion of training.”
Agreement benefits include:
“We are really excited to join ExpressJet in this partnership,” said Robert Watts, owner of United Flight Systems, a Cessna Pilot Center and flight school near Spring, Texas. Owner since 1989, Watts foresees this venture as one means to help cure the expected pilot shortage coming soon.
