Four Seasons Hotel Amman continues to set the benchmark in luxury travel, this time by inspiring guests to share images of memorable travel experiences while staying at the Hotel. Be it an iPhone or an SLR, guests can take to their cameras to capture the beauty of Amman – widely hailed as a camera-ready destination by renowned photographers such as Zohrab Markarian. Guests can feature their pictures on social media using the hashtags #ExperienceFS and #fourseasons.
Hani Abu Lafi, Director of Sales and Marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Amman, says, “We invite our guests to experience the city’s inspiring settings and locations through their own creativity and photography skills and take back with them special memories of the city as personal souvenirs and memories of their travels to Amman and our Hotel.”
“The beauty of Amman lies in the rawness of the city’s architectural texture shaped by its rich past. Taking in the vivid views of the city and capturing them will be an extraordinary experience in the truest sense of the words as there couldn’t be a better way of discovering the splendour of this camera-ready destination than by unearthing the pages of its history one heritage site after another,” sayes Zohrab Markarian.
Guests can showcase their creative best with a photo-worthy tour of Amman with Four Seasons Amman and Zohrab Markarian, the former official palace photographer who accompanied His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan for 22 years. The tour is organised as a Four Seasons Extraordinary Experience, which also invites fans to share memorable travel experiences at Four Seasons destinations around the globe. From taking advantage of natural lighting to experimenting with focal length and shooting from unexpected angles, photographers of all levels are encouraged to try expert tips and share the results using the dedicated hashtags.
The tour begins at the Hotel in the morning, where Zohrab will lead guests to some of Amman’s most picturesque landmarks, including the Old Souk and the 2,000-year-old Roman Theatre. Next, there will be a stop at the Citadel in the heart of Old Amman offering the perfect opportunity to capture the mountain landscape. Finish off the tour with stunning views of old Amman’s architecture and a traditional Jordanian tea on the terrace of Darat al Funun in the Jabal al-L’weibdeh district, the artistic heart of the city. Throughout the tour, Markarian will share photography tips and local insights, all while capturing images of guests’ experiences.
