Fairways Golf Signs Marketing Partnership With Pinehurst Resort

pinehurst resortFairways Golf has signed an exclusive marketing partnership with Pinehurst Resort, LLC. The company was selected to represent Pinehurst, host of the 2014 Men and Women’s U.S. Open, for the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) near Barcelona, Spain from November 11-14, 2013. Golf industry buyers and suppliers from across the world will attend the industry-leading golf travel trade show, where Fairways will represent Pinehurst to international golf travel executives and act as an inbound destination management company.

 
Alan Hale, President of Fairways Golf, will personally represent Fairways Golf at the IGTM to work with the international golf tour operators. Mr. Hale said, “We’re honored that Pinehurst has selected Fairways Golf to be the representative and liaison to international golf tour operators. This new partnership creates an opportunity for Pinehurst to leverage Fairways Golf’s reach in this market. It’s truly a marquee brand relationship for Fairways Golf, and it adds to our growing list of world-class golf customers and partners.”

 
The exclusive partnership is part of a strategy to rapidly broaden Pinehurst’s inbound international business. “Fairways Golf provides an easy way for golf tour operators to send their clients to the USA. Pinehurst enhances that offering by being a world-class resort with internationally-recognized golf courses, including Course No. 2, a Donald Ross-design, where both 2014 U.S. Opens will be played.” said Mr. Hale.
