Fashion takes centre stage in Germany’s capital for an entire week twice each year at Berlin Fashion Week. The latest trends can be seen at trade fairs and public shows, fashion shows and exhibitions.
The summer collection brightens up mid-January and the winter collection keeps us cool in early July each year.
Started in summer 2007, Berlin Fashion Week has become a fashion event of international importance.
Fashion shows, exhibitions and numerous events attract designers, critics and fashion fans to the fashion capital of Berlin, known for its young, vibrant designs and innovative ideas.
More than 3,500 Berlin companies are active in the fashion industry, making Berlin the densest centre of fashion in all of Germany. Fashion labels and major brands show their latest collections at a lot of trade and fashion shows and more than 100 other events each year.
Highlights of the Berlin Fashion Week include the fashion trade fairs PREMIUM Exhibitions and PANORAMA as well as the runway shows for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, which will once more take place at the Brandenburg Gate in the heart of Berlin.
In addition to the major trade shows for trade visitors and invited guests, numerous exciting fashion-related events will be taking place throughout the city. From handmade young fashion to upcycling fashion and pop-up stores, there will be something for every fashion enthusiast. And after the shows, designers, models and fashionistas head out to the many after-show parties.
The Berlin Fashion Week this summer kicks off on June 28 and runs until July 1.
