Faz Restaurants Group has announced an exciting range of dining options for the festive season at 5 locations around the Bay Area. Established for over 30 years, Faz offers delicious traditional and modern festive cuisine for the holiday period with Mediterranean influences.Recovering from Thanksgiving and all the work that goes into it, some families will be considering a more relaxing dine out option for the next round of holiday festivities.
Groups and families looking for a traditional holiday meal should head to the festively decorated and glowing spaces of Faz restaurants in Sunnyvale, San Jose, Oakland, Pleasanton and Danville. Faz will be offering Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day buffets including a Chef’s carving station with seasoned, seared and slow roasted prime rib and traditional holiday ham with Faz’s home made quince preserves. In addition there’ll be breakfast favorites like eggs benedict, French toast as well as seafood offerings of house-smoked salmon, Grecian style salmon and shrimp cocktail, salad station, Mediterranean and Persian inspired dishes (flavorful hummus and baba ganoush with wood fired oven flatbread and pizzas) and an extensive array of desserts (Faz’s house made baklava, assorted cheesecakes alongside house-made apple-pear cobbler with warm caramel sauce, carrot cake and brownies) and more.
In the lead up to Christmas and in celebration of the longest night of the year, Faz San Jose and Pleasanton will also be revisiting the restaurant’s Persian roots and hosting the traditional celebration of Yalda on Saturday, December 19th. Gearing up for the Winter solstice and celebrating the triumph of light over dark, Yalda, Faz-style will incorporate a Persian buffet, music and dancing. Delicate ingredients such as nuts and pomegranates represent life and the glow of dawn during Yalda and will be incorporated into the feast from 7:30pm to Midnight.
