The brand new cruise liner of China named Norwegian Joy is a special cruise ship with a unique difference. Capable of accommodating 3850 passengers, this liner would be graced with a two-level Ferrari-branded racetrack on its deck, thank to a partnership between Scuderia Ferrari Watches and Norwegian Cruise Line.
On it, the cruise travellers would be able to reach each other inside electric go-carts.
Up to 10 guests would be capable of racing at the same time and there would be souvenir photos that would be taken at the finish line. Some of the guests would even be able to enjoy a number of free rides on this Ferrari track as part of their benefits package.
This is the very first time Ferrari Watches has partnered on a venture of this kind.
Also, a store selling the watches would be present adjacent to the track.
Officially, Norwegian Joy would be delivered on 27th April , first to Germany prior to setting sail for China. Then, there would be an inaugural port tour featuring certain events at the ports of Hong Kong, Shenzen and Qingdao. And, there would also be VIP partner cruises from the home ports of Norwegian Joy that is from Tianjin and Shanghai.
The christening ceremony would be conducted on 27th June and would feature ‘King of Chinese Pop’ Wang Leehom.
Other interesting attractions of the cruise vessel include staterooms for extended families, an observation deck with 180-degree views and some amazing virtual balconies. Alongside the racetrack, there would be a open-air laser tag course, interactive video walls and simulator rides.
