Fire aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise injures crew member

freedom-of-the-seasFreedom of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships operated by Royal Caribbean International witnessed mayhem as a fire broke out in a mechanical space. Reports reveal that a crew member on board suffered injuries from the unprecedented fire.

 

 

Royal Caribbean cruise ship while approaching Jamaica witnessed the predicament causing passengers to be sent to evacuation stations with life jackets.

 

 

Royal Caribbean International said fire suppression equipment quickly doused the blaze in a mechanical area of the Freedom of the Seas as it arrived at the Miami-based company’s cruise ship port in the northern town of Falmouth.

 

 

Freedom of the Seas was once the largest cruise ships in the world when unveiled in 2006. It is capable of carrying more than 4000 people on board.
