Today, Plaza Premium Group is pleased to announce the official unveiling of its new airport dining concept ― Flight Club at KL International Airport (KLIA), Malaysia at its Official Opening Ceremony. As the name of Flight Club suggests, this brand is specifically designed for the airport where healthy dining can be made possible even on the road.
“We warmly welcome Flight Club to KLIA.” said Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, Managing Director of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) and the Guest of Honour of the ceremony. “In our 17 years of partnership with Plaza Premium Group, it is a delight to note that our passion of introducing healthy and delectable food for airport travellers has come to fruition.”

It also allows us to stay ahead among our peers in enriching travellers’ dining experience with its unique concept of eating well and eating healthy when they travel through KLIA. This great addition in KLIA goes hand in hand with Malaysia Airports’ mission, which is to create joyful experiences by connecting people and businesses.” The Guest of Honour remarked.
Located across Plaza Premium Lounge on the Mezzanine Level in the Satellite Building (International Departure) of KLIA, Flight Club showcases an enticing menu of western and international cuisines, with the emphasis on the use of herbs and seeds, from rosemary to oregano, and from chia seeds to flaxseeds, creating a range of visually enticing and healthy dishes blended with natural and colourful ingredients. Informative display of mural boards about herbs and seeds are also strategically featured within Flight Club to educate travellers about better dining habits, enabling their indulgence in a luscious yet educational culinary experience that is unique to the airport.

Opening round-the-clock with a measure of over 3,200 square-feet, this casual and chic eatery with about 110 seats is set within a contemporary design resembling comforts of home. It features a buffet salad bar, dessert display counter and a live cooking kitchen station where guests will be able to enjoy an interactive dining experience while awaiting their flight. The natural, refreshing and rustic decorations reflect its pursuit of modern leisure whilst projecting a homey and sense of well-being for our guests.
The soaring windows of Flight Club bring extra charm by offering a magnificent view over the runway. To complement travellers’ seamless airport experience, amenities such as charging stations, flight information display board, TV channels, complimentary Wi-Fi and a selection of magazines and newspapers are also available at our guests’ disposal.
In addition to a wide array of green healthy delicacies, the bar inside this eatery serves specialty cocktails and coffee, chilled beers and cold-pressed signature juices to help ward off travel woes. For those wanting something quick on-the-go, the Take Away counter offers designer wraps with wholesome fillings or the option of creating your own exclusive wrap.
“We believe that the healthy food journey can be a rewarding and educational one; our guests will not only be able to experience the freshness and uniqueness of authentic herbs and seeds, but also the flexibility of adding these superfoods to their own choice of dishes or beverage” says Executive Chef, Danny Lau.
Flight Club’s signature dishes recommended by Chef Danny include Hydroponic Baby Cos Caesar’s Style, 1824 Beef Cheek, Rotisserrie Chicken, Traditional Shepherd’s Pie, Grilled Sutchi Fillet, Squid Ink Pasta whereas local delights include Golden Fish Fillet Vermicelli Soup and our all-time favourites Nasi Lemak and Nasi Goreng. Our guests can complete their culinary adventure at Flight Club with its signature home-made ice cream using local fruits and ingredients such as Beetroot, Cempedak, Sesame and Vanilla.
Flight Club is an airport based healthy dining brand and not a replicate of chained outlets in town. It now opens 24 hours daily in International Departure of KLIA.
