Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is today (25th February) celebrating the announcement of four brand new routes starting as part of its 2016 Summer schedule, with a wide range of great deals for savvy consumers across its extensive network.
The airline’s two new routes from Hannover see it entering the intra-European scene for the first time, with daily flights between the key German city to Lyon and Milan starting on 1st August a clear indication of its mission to connect Europe with as many options for time-saving travel as it does across the UK.
In addition to these two routes from Hannover, is a new daily from Manchester to Lyon (starts 1st August) and the third route to be operated under the UK Government’s Regional Air Connectivity Fund*, between Dundee and Amsterdam, with special limited time one way fares available from £19.99 including taxes and charges effective for travel from 23rd May.
Amsterdam is Dundee’s first international destination, providing regional customers quick and convenient access in just two hours to the numerous onward travel connections available from Amsterdam Schiphol airport.
In another first, Flybe is the only airline flying to Lyon out of Manchester Airport, linking two key business centres that were not previously connected with a direct daily service starting on 1st August. As well as also being a great tourist destination in its own right, Lyon is perfectly positioned for onward travel into both Italy and Switzerland.
Vincent Hodder, Flybe’s Chief Revenue Officer comments: “It is not often we have such key new routes to announce, which is why we wanted to make it extra special for everyone by offering some great fare deals across the board.”
