The coordinators claim that this year it will be bigger and better with unique approach than ever. There will be new exhibitors, products, events and competitions. “Refreshing Premium Business” is the theme for this year. Over 370 exhibitors will be pouring in from 30 different countries and Belgium, China, Germany, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan and the United States will have their separate pavilions.
The event will be witnessed by 30,000 trade professionals. This year, it’s being predicted that Thailand will generate over Bt2.7 trillion revenue in tourism, showcasing an increase of over 10 percent in comparison to 2016.
In terms of new ideas, products and competitions to boost the development of the sector, FHT is growing at the fast rate. This year Belgian, German and South African pavilions are going to be the new ones. 22 products are being introduced for the first time in the world and 38 been made public in Thailand for the first time, and Best Chef Competition as part of the Thailand International Culinary Cup.
Side by side, there will be a new entry, International Wine Challenge judging panel along with a Thai Wine Master Class, a Five-course Western Table Set-up Competition, a Beer Pavilion and Craft Beer Workshops and Thailand’s own World Champion Latte Artist.
