Tourists would be able to use these cards for entry to the museum, other cultural regions, public transport and also in tour buses like ‘Baku City Bus’, according to Kanan Guluzade who is the spokesperson for the National Bureau for Propaganda of Tourism.

The National Bureau is planning to create two types of cards for 30 days and the other for annuals and the latter can be extended as well.
He said that by purchasing the card, foreign and regional citizens would be able to use some services absolutely free of cost or on preferential terms. The cards are designed for visiting museums, using in sightseeing buses and also vehicles in Baku. They also offer an opportunity to use discounts in a few stores.
Guluzade stated that the single tourist electronic cards would be available for purchase at the different travel agencies and a number of points of sale in Baku and even online.
He then revealed that the project preparing for the single tourist cards is being discussed with the business structures and relevant governments adding that they would make efforts to make the cards affordable for tourists.
