On Wednesday an electrifying guitar smashing ceremony coupled with fireworks established the perfect scene for the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s preview of a new hotel tower that had been rising at the grand lodging and entertainment complex. The guitar smashings have emerged as a ceremonial staple of Hard Rock grand openings and other milestone events.
The expansion is all set to debut several signature features that currently do not exist nationally or anywhere in the world, as per officials who mentioned this in a preview of the 450-foot tall guitar-shaped hotel tower under construction.
James Allen who is the Seminole Gaming CEO and chairman of Hard Rock International told the regional news media that it would represent the very first building in the world that is specially designed as an authentic guitar.
Therefore it is not just an exterior façade but the curving of the building would be identical to an authentic guitar.
It is scheduled for a summer 2019 opening.
Apart from the avant-garde shape of the tower, guests would be capable of exploring an expansive 10-acre complex at its base that would provide private cabanas with multiple waterfalls, plunge pools, beach club dining and watersports.
It would also include a beautiful lagoon-inspired ‘Bora Bora Experience’ that would be quite unique, particularly in the United States.
The ‘water wonderland’ would boast of night-time entertainment offering comprising lazy rivers, paddleboats, canoes and much more.
The tower would also be enriching itself with 638 rooms and suites to the Seminole Hard Rock accommodation offerings, pushing the room total to 1,270. Another lower-level building inside the new development would offer more rooms for over 1,300 units, according to Allen.
The tower would also contain a 41,000-square-foot spa, numerous restaurants and lounges.
The existent 5,500-seat Hard Rock Love entertainment venue would be demolished in March. And the new $100 million grander Hard Rock Live would also be sporting 7,000 seats in a theater-styled configuration.
And the brand new Hard Rock venue is also set to open in the mid-2019.
When it finally opens an interim performance hall would be transformed into 37,000-square feet ballroom and the massive hotel project is expected to boost the regional economy to a great extent by creating 3,000 additional permanent jobs.
