Fortini joins as general manager of Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort

Marriott has announced the appointment of Emilio Fortini will as general manager of Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, North Malé Atoll, Maldives.

After a  $20 million renovation of the newly transformed resort  gave a contemporary twist to exclusive five-star experience guaranteed at the property the recent appointment took place.

The hotel is situated on the private island of Furanafushi in the Republic of Maldives which is just one kilometer and a 15-minute speedboat ride away from the Malé International Airport.

The hotel’s 176 guest rooms designed by the five-star resort blend with the surrounding turquoise waters, pristine beaches and lush greenery.

There are seven unique restaurants and bars, the Shine Spa for Sheraton located on its very own island along with three outdoor tropical fresh water pools.

The resort is ideal for honeymooners, families with young children or teens and solo travellers.

Fortini holds more than thirty-five years of hospitality experience in Asia Pacific, he has led the refurbishment and rebranding of properties in his earlier roles.
